Cling to your Faith in Christ

Heavenly Father,

I lift up my children to You today, praying that they learn to live in faith. May they not glibly take their belief in the One, True Living God for granted. Rather,  may they embrace a personal identity claimed as Yours...for Eternity.  That is a beautiful reassurance all believers possess. Admittedly, we cannot dream or imagine the depth of what it means to be an authentic Child of God. Yet, inch by inch, day by day and year by year, may my children learn to live in faith. In doing so, they will grow in knowing  the peace, comfort and surety that You alone are sovereign and You alone matter more than anything this earthly life can offer.  In Jesus' Name, Amen

 

1 Timothy 1: 19 TLB   Cling tightly to your faith in Christ and keep your conscience clear, doing what you know is right. 

 

God exerts incomparable power in the lives of those who continue believing in Him. ....God does what He wants, but He primarily wants our faith. He certainly makes exceptions, but His primary rule is: according to your faith it will be done to you. That means the more we believe God, the more are likely to see and experience His intervening power.  - Beth Moore
